Special interest groups

The following Special Interest Groups are operational:

  • A Different Way of Paying for Mobility (Anders Betalen voor Mobiliteit). The project organisation A Different Way of Paying for Mobility (ABvM) has commissioned Connekt to organise thematic meetings on pricing so that an advice can be issued to the minister. For more information click here.
  • Rapid Market Adoption of Mobility Information (MMI). The MMI focuses on influencing the demand by distributing up-to-date traffic and travel information.
  • In-car Services. This forum is aimed at developing an open market with standardised telematic solutions for both the service provider and the user. The forum is affiliated with the European programme Global System for Telematics (GST) that is aimed at new in-car services.
  • ITS Public Transport. The goal is to realise and apply open standards for the (data) exchange within the public transport sector.

 

SKG Different Payment for Mobility meeting 30 November

As you may have heard already the bill on the ‘Kilometer charge’ has been approved by the Dutch Cabinet on 13 November. This bill is the legal framework of the kilometer price system. In the explanatory memorandum, components of the system are explained such as the basic rate, the principles of the peak rate, the organization of implementation, deployment, monitoring, enforcement and the impact of the introduction of the system.

To further inform you about the status of the project ‘Different Payment for Mobility’ and the bill, we kindly invite you to attend a meeting of the Special Knowledge Group ABvM. This will take place on Monday 30 November. The location (depending on the number of participants) will be mailed to you after registering.
