Activities

Network meetings, connecting, spreading and accelerating
The network is mainly strengthened by creating new contacts, reaffirming existing contacts and sharing knowledge. To this end, Connekt organises meetings for its members in the form of a conference, lunch or for example an ITS members dinner; it actively participates in events organised by others like the ITS conferences for example. Connekt also organises visits to specific locations. These study trips generally take place abroad.

Round Tables, broad and in-depth
Round Tables are aimed at generating broader and more in-depth knowledge of topical issues. These events are organised in co-operation with one or several private and/or public members, specific parties and experts involved in this subject area will be invited to the event.

Special Interest Groups, specific and structural
In numerous fields it has proven useful and inspiring if parties concerned meet on a regular basis. Connekt organises Special Interest Groups for this purpose. The participants are members of the network and experts. They regularly meet to determine a strategy, to take decisions or to agree on actions regarding specific subjects. This allows the parties concerned to structurally share knowledge and to apply this in their own field of activity

Projects, not a goal but a means
Projects are the activities which Connekt, in co-operation with parties concerned, works on over a longer period and thereby makes agreements on budget, planning etc. Connekt aims to join international projects where possible. Projects are not a goal in themselves, they are mainly a means via which to further expand Connekt’s network.
